What is Stripe?

Once that has occurred, the bank will choose to accept or reject the transaction and alert you to the decision.

Stripe has been certified as a PCI Level 1 service provider, meaning it undergoes regular compliance checks, as well as routine tests and security scans.
All customer information is encrypted and all decryption information is stored separately, which means Stripe cannot see credit card numbers without taking extra steps.
